OSMASTON took over at the top of the summer league table, leap-frogging Coach Rangers.

They notched a 2-0 away victory over the former leaders and followed up by defeating Biggin to keep them at the summit.

Coach Rangers showed their mettle and bounced back with a great 5-1 win away at Rose and Crown, James Ingram scoring twice.

Bridge had another tough week and were on the end of another 10-0 thrashing at Doveridge.

John Atherton fired five and Ben Atherton a brace.

However, things went wrong for Bridge when they went down 4-0 to last season's champions, Bradley.

Newcomers Mappleton are slowly climbing the table, helped by a 3-2 victory over Westen and a 3-1 win over Mayfield, who drew with Brassington 3-3.

Brassington also had a good midweek win, beating Red Lion 5-1.

The Wheel had a mixed week, losing 2-0 away to Biggin before notching a 2-1 victory over Hulland, who have taken one point from their two games, having drawn 1-1 with Red Lion.

Kirk Langley, meanwhile, lost 2-0 at home to Rose and Crown.
