NICK Partridge fired four as Ashbourne Aztecs Under-15s marched to a 5-0 win against Mickleover 95.

But it was his team-mate Eddy Donnelly who opened the scoring with a superb left-foot lob from 40 yards out.

And two minutes later he teed up Partridge to score his first of the game.

Donnelly's through ball was latched on to by Partridge, who beat the keeper to make it 2-0.

Tom Jones was the supplier for the Aztecs' third goal, reaching the byline before crossing for Partridge to score.

Mickleover started to bite back and Aztecs keeper Owen Ryan had to be on his toes to keep them at bay with a number of saves.

Kyle Bond had to replace the injured Donnelly before the break and Ben Sanders, Benjo Laurie and Alex Frazer-Smith all had chances to increase the lead.

Mickleover began the second half in determined fashion, winning five successive corners before Aztecs broke quickly. Oliver Sadler found Jones, who released Partridge down the left wing, the Ashbourne marksman driving forward before completing his hat-trick.

Ashbourne's back four of Luke Smith, Jack Coates, James Beresford and Sadler dug in as Mickleover tried to respond before Partridge bagged his fourth goal.

Smith delivered a cross for Bond to shoot, the Mickleover keeper parrying the ball into the path of man of the match Partridge, who made no mistake.

Aztecs keeper Ryan was still called into action to earn a clean sheet, saving a penalty.

Luke Zona launched Ashbourne Aztecs Juniors U11s to a 2-0 win against Alvo Boys White Sox U11s.

His initial shot was saved but he pounced on the rebound to head home.

Owen Bailey was playing a blinder for Aztecs and they made it 2-0 when Tyler Burton's corner took a deflection off an Alvaston defender to finish in the net.

Keeper Ben Johnson was able to keep Alvaston at bay and Aztecs defenders Adam Leigh, Josh Lee and Jack Green were proving to be equally formidable.

Substitute Jack Beresford went close to scoring a third for Aztecs, while James Donlan was man of the match for an excellent midfield display.

Thomas Harris was the hero for Ashbourne Aztecs Leopards Under-11s, scoring six in their 9-3 win against Gad Khalsa Barca.

He dribbled around the keeper for his first before adding a second with a half-volley before Khalsa fought back to level.

Leo Cooper restored the advantage before Harris took control, scoring the next three.

Alex Cheetham made it 7-2 with a neat sidefoot finish before Harris struck for the sixth time.

Cheetham completed his brace from close range before Khalsa scored a late consolation.

Jacob Dussroth scored four for Doveridge Under-11s in their 11-0 win against Netherseal St Peters.

Dussroth scored all his goals in the second half after Doveridge built a 4-0 half-time advantage thanks to strikes from Adam Leigh, Frankie Bussell (2) and Billy Freeborough.

Will Jones joined Dussroth on the scoresheet after the break, while Ben Pattinson and Billy Snow also struck in the closing stages to wrap up an impressive performance.
