POLICE officers are appealing for information following the theft of two caravans from a caravan club site near Ashbourne.

Overnight between 5pm on Monday, May 5 and 7.30am on Tuesday, May 6, offenders forced the lock of a secure compound at the site of Blackwell Plantation Caravan Club in Kirk Ireton.

A white and maroon coloured Swift 625 model was taken from the site, along with a 2010 registered Swift Challenger caravan.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Inspector Heather Young on 101, the non-emergency number for Derbyshire police.
