VILLAGERS will have the opportunity to speak to police at a meeting in March.
Officers are set to meet residents of Carsington, Tissington and surrounding areas on Monday, March 18.
The Safer Neighbourhood Team meeting is open to the public and offers a chance for people to talk to officers about policing in their arean and issues such as speeding or anti-social behaviour.
The meeting, which is at 7.30pm at Hognaston Village Hall, also help police to set priorities for the neighbourhood over the following three months.
Safer Neighbourhood officer for the area, PC Kate Wakefield, said: “These meetings are a fantastic and crucial way for us to hear what issues local residents are having.
“We set the neighbourhood priorities from the feedback we receive and we want as many people as possible to attend and have their say on what issues we should focus on.”
