Police launch youth survey

YOUNG people in Ashbourne are being invited to give their views on crime and policing.

Police commisioner Alan Charles hopes a new survey will enable people between the ages of 11 and 24 to express their opinions on issues affecting them, such as antisocial behaviour.

Mr Charles said that understanding the views of young people would help reduce both the numbers of young entrants into the justice system and young victims of crime.

The survey can be found on the link from the Police and Crime Commissioner's website at www.derbyshire-pcc.gov.uk.
