Popular blues musician takes to the stage

A DERBY music venue is getting ready to welcome what promoters describe as one of the finest young blues guitarists.

Danny Bryant’s Red Eye Band will be playing live a the Flowerpot in King Street Derby on Friday and Europe’s leading blues and rock publication, classic rock blues, recently called Danny a ‘National Blues Treasure’.

Riding high on the European blues scene for over a decade, yet still only 32, Danny has carved a name for himself the old-fashioned way having played more than 2,000 club and festival shows to fans around the world.

Following many sold out club tours across Europe and numerous major festival appearances that have seen him perform on the same bill as such names as Joe Cocker, Carlos Santana, Buddy Guy and Peter Green.

February 2010 saw the release of Danny’s break-through album ‘Just As I Am’, hitting blues charts all across the continent and receiving glowing reviews.
