IF THERE is one thing I have learned over the years about working out or walking on a regular basis – be sure to invest in a good pair of trainers.
I remember joining a gym many moons ago and going against the advice of a good friend to treat myself to some good running shoes.
I didn’t and oh boy did I regret it. After an hour’s workout everything was fine – it was the next morning when every muscle in my legs ached.
I am taking part in Champneys Springs 12-Week Body Change Challenge and as soon as I signed on the dotted line my first thought was – decent running shoes.
So after searching the internet I found these gorgeous (and of course comfortable) trainers from New Balance. They feature a grey woven upper with pink accenting to the sole and side panelling and come complete with textured tread, blind eyelet lacing system, plus light padding to the cuff. Oh, and not forgetting a spare set of bright pink laces.
They fit a treat and although I don’t run in them, I do walk for almost half an hour in the gym and haven’t suffered from any effects of cramping in my legs.
I am also hoping that my New Balance trainers will help me find my balance in the gym - now that’s a whole new story.
