Truly, Madly, Deeply

THIS collection brings together 24 specially-selected short stories from some of the best-loved and up and coming chick lit authors including Adele Parks, Kate Harrison, Katie Fford and a particular favourite of mine, Carole Matthews.

Sometimes when a book is heralded a collection of short stories, this isn’t necessarily so. However, with Truly, Madly, Deeply this is not the case.

From everlasting love to steamy brief encounters each entry is positively charming in its own right – and if you are a bedtime reader such as myself, you can read two or three each night without having to desperately try to remember what happened in the previous chapter. There are no previous chapters.

Prefixing each story is a brief synopsis about the author which gives us an insight as to who is behind the names we have come to know and love.

An ideal present for Mother's Day, a great holiday read or, as in my case, the perfect book to unwind with before getting my eight hours sleep a night.

Truly, Madly, Deeply is published by Mills & Boon, in paperback, priced £7.99.
