COACH Rangers will face Osmaston in the final of the Wayne Tarbard Memorial Trophy.

League leaders Coach Rangers were given a bye to the final because Doveridge were unable to field a team in their semi-final.

Osmaston beat their semi-final opponents Red Lion 3-1 and will line up against Coach at the Rose and Crown, Boylestone on Saturday (kick-off 7pm).

Entry to the game costs £2 per person.

In the league, there were big wins for Brassington, who defeated bottom-of-the-table side Weston 8-0, while Rose and Crown fired 12 goals without reply past mid-table Biggin.

Osmaston lost 4-2 to FC Hulland, while Mappleton notched a 5-1 home victory over Red Lion.

There was a close contest between Mayfield and Doveridge, which was settled in favour of the latter by the odd goal in seven.

Meanwhile, Brassington beat Wheel Inn 4-2.

Tomorrow sees a top-of-the-table clash with leaders Rangers playing Bradley.
