ASHBOURNE Aztecs Under-14s completed the double over local rivals Rocester with a comprehensive 5-0 win.
The team started aggressively and were rewarded with early success when, following a corner, the ball broke for Kacper Stoch, who stabbed home.
This settled the players down and from then on they completely dominated the home side.
Three further goals followed before half time with Hodkinson continuing his good form after returning from injury by netting twice and captain Jack Bowers smashing in a loose ball following another corner.
The match was won in midfield where the combination of Farr, Stoch, Lueer, Reed and Smith overwhelmed their opposition with strong physicality and superb one-touch passing.
Up front, Rosewarne, Ocran and Kneil ran their socks off and created multiple chances which kept the Rocester keeper busy and it was their endeavour which assisted Olly Reed in scoring the goal of the game by picking his spot and curling in from 25 yards out.
The defence of Campbell, Bowers, Fulham and Lambert snuffed out the rare home side chances and keeper Burton was assured with anything that did get through to claim a clean sheet.
