SAM Randon has had to change teams as he prepares for the next rounds in the Michelin Clio Cup series.

In a frantic bid to find extra funding, he had to make some difficult decisions.

"We've had to change teams to fit the remaining budget which has been difficult as the boys at SVR worked so hard for me," said Randon.

"But we have been very lucky to agree a deal with Derby-based 20Ten Racing, who have a great pedigree at UK Clio Cup level.

"I'm really looking forward to racing with them.

"With the help of our fantastic sponsors, who have dug deeper to help out financially, we have found a way to finish the season and fulfil our obligations to them."

Randon is currently fifth in the championship with rounds nine and 10 to come this weekend.

The first race of the Snetterton weekend will be televised live on Saturday on Motors TV (Sky channel 447) at 3.25pm.
