IN their last match of the season, Ashbourne Rugby Club's under-14s turned on the style in the second half to beat Matlock 31-5.

The boys turned round 5-0 down, despite having more of the play, but a rousing half-time chat from captain Will Mousley changed things.

Jack Bowers went under the posts for two tries and Toby Doran muscled over for another, before two tries for Harry Zona made the final score 31-5.

● Ashbourne seconds have won the Derbyshire RFU 2nd XV Cup, beating Derby 28 -15. Toby Tucker (2) and Dan Naylor scored tries, while Dan Ryde added two conversions and three penalties.
