AN air ambulance charity covering the Ashbourne area is urging online shoppers to help with its fund-raising campaign.

The team at Midlands Air Ambulance has joined forces with the Care2Save service, which enables consumers to support the charity at no extra cost to themselves when shopping online with many of the UK’s leading high street brands, such as Debenhams, Boots, House of Fraser, Monarch and BT.

Air ambulance spokesman Jason Levy said: “While we remain in an economically challenging period, it is clear that there is less disposable income available to our donors, so our supporters can still give to our charity and make a difference to our life saving work, while shopping online through Care2Save.”

Further information is available online at www.care2save.co.uk or by calling 0800 840 2040.
