THE winners of the News Telegraph’s Shrovetide hoodies competition have been announced.

Five lucky readers won personalised hoodies from Ashbourne based company Shoredump Clothing, after correctly picking the correct answer to the question ‘which royal most recently attended the Shrovetide event and started the game?’, which was, of course, Prince Charles.

The winners were Zoe Dixon, Deb Williams, Jacob Tomkinson, Steph Cope and Alison Smith.

Charlotte Brookes, owner of Shoredump Clothing, said: “We hope the winners enjoy wearing their new hoodies at Shrovetide, and anyone who wasn’t lucky enough to win still has time to get one if they let us know right away.

“The hoodies come in all sizes from six months to 4XL and more than 50 colours, so there really is something for everyone.

“We can add your name on the back to make it even more special.

“If hoodies aren’t your thing then we can always do a T-shirt, polo or even a sweatshirt.”
