Age: 30
Married: No, just under the thumb.
Kids: No
Job: I’m a plumber. I work for Martin Hellaby.
Three likes: Shrovetide, motocross, my dogs.
Three dislikes: Up’ards, stubbing my toe and cold toilet seats.
Family: I was born in Derby but grew up in Ashbourne with my parents Mick and Anthea Mee. I have three brothers Andy and John are both older than me and George is younger.
I also have a nephew, Joe.
My girlfriend is Sophie Hollinshead and I have a dog called Bodie.
Shrovetide preparations: Lots of power-walking.
Shrovetide snap: Stew at Hazel’s. And I have pancakes and lemon for breakfast.
Ending the night at: The Bridge.
Best thing about Shrovetide: The tradition and the lads.
Worst thing about Shrovetide: Shrovetide traitors.
If I ruled Shrovetide: I would make the game longer so we would play from 10am to midnight. I’d also move the times so that if there was a goal before 6pm a second ball would be turned up.
What design on your ball: I’ve not had my ball painted yet. I’ve got a few ideas and there is quite a lot that I would like to have painted on it. But I’m not sure how I want it doing yet.
