Written byNATALIE WAKEFIELD

Age:

48

Married:

Yes to Andrea

Kids:

Daniel, 13 and Ewan, nine, both Up’ards

Job:

HGV driver for Frank Wright Trouw

Three likes:

Derby County, the outdoors, renovating dusty DB tractors.

Three dislikes:

Bad driving, anybody that doesn’t support Derby, health and safety.

Family:

Born at Ashbourne Maternity Home, my mother is Hazel, I have a sister, Angela and my late dad, Terry claimed to be a Down’ard but never actually went.

Shrovetide preparations:

Lots of walking, talking and jogging.

Shrovetide snap:

Pies, chips and pancakes.

Ending the night at:

Sturston and the Vaults.

Best thing about Shrovetide:

The build up and the banter.

Worst thing about Shrovetide:

Raining and the game not living up to my expectations.

If I ruled Shrovetide

I would install more Up’ards on the committee and open the old railway line to Clifton to make it easier to get to.

What designs would you have on your ball:

I’ve got the Derby ram and a picture of the Green Man looking up St John Street.
