Written byNATALIE WAKEFIELD

Age:

35.

Married:

Yes.

Kids:

Two.

Job:

Estimator for William Hare Decking.

Three likes:

Rugby, fishing and Shrovetide.

Three dislikes:

Gobby Down’ards, traffic wardens and mushrooms.

Family:

I’m Ashbourne born and bred, my dad is Andrew Lemon and my mum is Ann. I have a brother, Wayne and a sister, Sharon. I’m married to Michelle and we have two sons, William, six and Jack, three.

Shrovetide preparations:

A lot of time warning the toilet seat.

Shrovetide snap:

Nothing, I’m too nervous.

Ending the night at:

Sturston.

Best thing about Shrovetide:

The friends you make out of the game, both Up’ards and Down’ards.

Worst thing about Shrovetide:

Out-siders.

If I ruled Shrovetide

I’d shut down the roads into Ashbourne for the two days.

What designs would you have on your ball:

It’s quite family oriented with the Lemon family crest on one side and a portrait of my grandad Bill Davidson with a shire horse on the other.
