Skyfall at village hall

A VILLAGE film club is to screen the latest James Bond blockbuster.

Hulland Films returns after the Christmas break with Skyfall on Saturday, January 26.

The 12A film stars Daniel Craig as Britain’s favourite spy.

When Bond’s latest assignment goes badly wrong, the identities of secrent agents around the world become known.

MI6 comes under attack forcing M (Judi Dench) to relocate the agency.

But an internal threat in the shape of the new chairman of the Intelligence and Security Committee (played by Ralph Fiennes) leaves M facing danger on all fronts, forcing her to commandeer her last ally, Bond.

Taking to the shadows, Bond enlists the help of field agent Eve (Naomie Harris) to track the mysterious Silva whose lethal and hidden motives have yet to be revealed.

Skyfall marks 50 years of Bond movies and is the 23rd film in the franchise.

The film’s theme song, Skyfall, sung by British star Adele has been nominated for an Oscar at this year’s awards ceremony.

James Bond in Skyfall is at Hulland Ward and District Millennium Village Hall at 7pm.
