THE first round of the Ashbourne Town Darts League Divisional Cups took place last week.
In Division One, ESC A travelled to the Waterloo and won the match 5-4 on the final doubles.
Knockerdown also had a 5-4 win against the Yew Tree, again a match won on the final doubles, with Leon Meadows scoring three registers for the Knockerdown. Martin Sheard hit four registers and Chris Bates had a 120 double start for the Yew Tree.
In Division Two, the Red Lion won the final doubles for a 5-4 win against The Bullets and in Division Three Shoulder A won 8-1 against the Red Lion B.
Tonight, the Men’s Singles are played at Compton Social Club. Players must register by 7.30pm and pay a £1 entry fee.
