Spot of bother for Osmaston as Mappleton win

LEADERS Osmaston were knocked out of the League Cup first round by Mappleton on penalties.

After a goalless encounter, Mappleton won 6-5 in the shoot-out.

Bradley proved far too strong for FC Hulland as they stormed to an 11-1 victory.

Brassington also made it through to the next round after defeating Red Lion 5-0, while Coach Rangers overcame The Bridge 4-1.

Biggin squeezed past Kirk Langley 2-1 and Mayfield won by the same score in their clash with Rose & Crown.

In the league, Red Lion were the biggest winners after defeating Wheel Inn 7-0.

Bradley beat Doveridge 5-1, Mappleton overcame Kirk Langley 4-2 and Biggin marched to a 4-0 win against FC Hulland. Osmaston drew 0-0 with Rose & Crown.
