Survey into driving damaged cars

MOTORISTS in the East Midlands are among the least likely to get behind the wheel of a damaged car, a report has suggested.

A study commissioned by national repair firm Kwik Fit found that nearly half of UK motorists admitted to getting behind the wheel of vehicles that are damaged - but only 37 per cent of people responding to the survey in the East Midlands admitted it, second only to the North East’s response of 34 per cent confessing to driving a damaged car.

The West Midlands was around mid-table with 43 per cent saying they have driven a car they know to be damaged and London drivers topped the list at 60 per cent.
