SURYA Dickinson produced an eye-catching performance in the Ashbourne Golf Club Lady Captain's day.
Playing in the bronze division, she scored 40 points playing her usual steady game, barely putting a foot wrong.
Because of the high competition scratch score, she was cut four shots from her handicap, bringing her down to 26 and continuing her very impressive progress over the season.
Runner-up in the bronze division was Chris Perry off 26 handicap with 33 points and third was Rachel Robinson playing off 20, with 32 points.
In the silver division, Jill Bainbridge, off an 11 handicap, took the honours. She had a good round and putted particularly well, scoring 36 points.
The nine pars on her card were testament to her consistency.
In second place, playing off nine, was Gill Lockwood with 32 points. She had 10 pars but had three poor holes where she failed to score.
Third place was taken by Anne Colwell, playing off 17, who scored 30 points.
Nearest the pin at the third hole was won by Sally Benn, who was also runner-up with her partner Tony Broadhurst in the Nine Hole Win Roome Salver Greensome competition.
Nearest the pin on the 14th hole was Pat Weetman and winners of the Winn Roome Salver were Sandra Maxwell and David Titterington.
Prior to the prize presentation Lady Captain Sandra Maxwell thanked everyone who had supported her and helped make the day a success.
