COACH Rangers got their hands on one trophy and tightened their grip on another this week.
They took the Wayne Tarbard Memorial Trophy by beating Osmaston 4-0 in the final and extended their perfect record in the league to 24 wins out of 24.
Among their three league wins, Coach Rangers inflicted a first league defeat of the season on their closest challengers to the title, Bradley, with a 3-0 scoreline.
Bradley bounced back from that setback by hammering strugglers Wheel Inn 23-0.
Rose & Crown are looking good to take third place in the league following victories over Wheel Inn, Mayfield and Mappleton in the last three rounds of matches.
Doveridge, meanwhile, stayed in touch with Rose & Crown with a triple success of their own.
