MAYFIELD villagers and community organisations are being asked to share their views and experiences of living in the area.

The Community Council of Staffordshire is seeking local knowledge from people living in Mayfield who may experience loneliness, with the aim of identifying if further support and help is needed to reduce social isolation.

The Campaign to End Loneliness suggests that loneliness is harmful to health and can lead to long term conditions.

Research shows that improving a person’s quality of life through various forms of social interaction can help a person to remain independent for longer and prevent medical intervention.

The Good Neighbours Scheme officer, Michelle Reynolds, will be holding a drop-in session on Thursday, March 6 between 1pm and 4pm in Mayfield Church Parish Rooms to talk confidentially to people for ten minutes and hear their views.
