ASHBOURNE residents are being invited to join a board of trustees that will oversee the support given to community and voluntary groups in the area.

The Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Service is inviting people to apply for a place on its board, which supports the development and success of the charity.

Trustees will undertake the role on an unpaid, voluntary basis, and would be expected to attend board meetings five times per year, as well as other occasional meetings and events.

Neil Moulden, Chief Executive of Derbyshire Dales CVS said: “Trustees play a vital role in the work of any charity, and at DDCVS we have been very fortunate to have some excellent trustees who have really supported the development and success of the Charity’s work.

“We now have an opportunity to recruit additional trustees and we are keen to hear from anyone who would like to help us.”

To find out more call Mr Moulden on 01629 812154.
