Weekend arts festival near Dovedale

A FARM near Ashbourne is hosting an Arts Festival this weekend.

The 5th Dovedale Arts Festival will take place at Lower Damgate Farm, near Ilam, from Friday, June 6 until Sunday, June 8.

The weekend of music, art and talks will be fuelled by food and wine provided by the Dovedale Events and Catering team.

Among those performing are the internationally celebrated cellist Natalie Clein, Matthew Parris, Fiona MacCarthy, Lucy Hughes-Hallett, Tom Stuart-Smith, Mark Cocker, Prof. John Carey, Alan Powers, Nick Hunt, and Prof. Sir Christopher Frayling.

The festival kicks off at 9pm on Friday with a cello recital by Natalie Clein.
