EUROPE’S top AC/DC tribute act are taking to the stage at Derby’s top gig venue.
AC/DC UK will bring their brand of ‘unrelenting’ rock, featuring the riffs, the hair – and the controversial outfits – on Saturday, September 28.
This is a must-see show for any AC/DC, metal or rock fan as the band faithfully reproduce the sound of their pioneering idols from Australia.
After five years of extensive touring, the band previously known as Touch 2 Much covers AC/DC’s long and illustrious career right from 1976’s High Voltage to 2008’s Black Ice.
They rock hits including Thunderstruck, Back in Black, Highway to Hell and Rock and Roll Damnation.
However, unlike many other tribute acts, they also cater for hardcore fans with some of the band’s lesser-known tracks.
Doors open at 8pm and tickets, available by calling 01332 834438 or on the door, cost £9.
AC/DC are a ground-breaking classic rock band whose music is a hugely-significant influence on modern-day heavy metal.
They fought through the loss of lead singer and co-songwriter Bon Scott in 1980 to produce a host of timeless rock classics.
Guitarist Angus Young is famed for his signature Gibson SG guitar sound and his bizarre choice of stage costume - he dressed up as a public school boy, complete with shorts.
