YOUNG singers have raised hundreds of pounds for charity by rehearsing in their pyjamas.
Members of the Young Ashbourne Singers raised £660 for Children In Need by attending choir practice in pyjamas, dressing gowns and slippers.
Jo Bradley works with the Young Ashbourne Singers. She said: “After seeing the Go Pyjamas appeal on Blue Peter the children felt very strongly that they wanted to make a contribution to Children In Need and agreed that this would be a fun way to raise the money.
“So they braved the cold evening weather and turned up to sing in a colourful assortment of pyjamas and onesies.
“They even managed to persuade the adult helpers to wear their PJs too.
“A big thank you to everyone who sponsored the children.”
