X FACTOR finalist Lloyd Daniels is making his musical theatre debut in the title role of the UK's longest running musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The show will be coming to Stoke's Regent Theatre next month.
This colourful retelling of the biblical story about Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colours, sings out to young and old alike with a score which is crammed wall to wall with hits – including Jacob and Sons, Close Every Door and Any Dream Will Do.
Featuring a fantastic young and vibrant company of energetic actors, singers and dancers, Lloyd said Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a full-on, non-stop, high-energy show, that is brought alive with glorious colours and dance routines.
With standing ovations at every performance, the musical is in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest-running touring musical of all time.
Lloyd said one of the highlights so far for him has been the audience's reaction. "Everyone is up on their feet, dancing and singing along to all the songs," he said, "and every night we have had a standing ovation. It really has been amazing to be part of it all."
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat plays at The Regent Theatre from Tuesday, September 16 until Saturday 20.
Tickets start at £10 and are available from the box office, by calling 0844 8717649 or online at www.atgtickets. com/stoke.
