ASHBOURNE’S motorhome dealership is continuing its strong growth as bosses announce another string to its bow, by signing up to work with an award-winning manufacturer.

The family-run Peak Leisure Vehicles in Derby Road has become an agent for Nu Venture motorhomes, which produces small van-conversions from its base in Lancashire.

Peak Leisure Vehicles director Steve Parsons said the vehicles will suit its brand well.

He said: “We’re delighted to have become agents for Nu Venture”, their high-quality van conversions are a perfect fit for our company and we can’t wait for the models to start arriving at our showroom in the next couple of months.

“We have always been specialists in sourcing high quality pre-owed vehicles to offer our customers.

“We are still keeping the showroom stocked with our approved pre-owned motorhomes but by becoming a dealer for Laika and Nu Venture we are able to offer our customers access to new motorhomes whatever their budget or requirements.

“We obviously knew about Nu Venture and their reputation but once we looked in to them in more detail, we knew they would be the right partners for us and their models would fit in perfectly with what we already offered at Peak Leisure Vehicles.”

The Nu Venture motorhomes are designed to be a smaller budget option for customers looking for a new vehicle.

Peak Leisure Vehicles, which moved to Ashbourne from its first home in Kirk Langley, became an agent for luxury Italian firm Laika motorhomes last year.

A family owned and run business, the company was established by motorhome enthusiasts Steve and Claire Parsons more than seven years ago.

In the past few years since moving to its new, larger premises, it has taken on new staff and expanded into the accessories market.
