LIMOS and vintage cars were lined up outside the beautiful setting of Shottle Hall in the heart of the Chatsworth countryside for Ashbourne's Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School's leavers' prom.
The house, a Victorian country home, boasts four magnificent acres of landscaped gardens and 14 acres of parkland.
It was the perfect backdrop for the 100 sixth-form students to stage their end-of-school celebrations. The guests enjoyed a three-course meal with a disco. The DJs were two ex-QEGS students, Jonathan Dell and John Steele.
Head teacher Anne Martin said: “It was a very fitting celebration after all their hard work this term. “We all want to wish them the very best of luck in the future."
